About Laura Cardona
Born and raised in Wayne NJ, Laura Cardona is a graduate of Montclair State University where she received her BA in Film and Television and a minor in Visual Arts in the spring of 2023. Growing up she honed her craft at such prestigious theatres as New Jersey Performing Arts Center, Vanguard Theatre Company and Manhattan School of Music. Currently, she studies classical voice and musical theatre technique with Dr. Julia Rowling with whom she has worked with the last 4 years.

When Laura was 12 years old she knew performing was her love when she played Serena Katz in her middle school production of Fame Jr. Performing has always been her dream and a way to connect to the world. Growing up with a music teacher as a mother, who she would always observe directing choirs/singing in church, had an indelible impact on her desire to be a performer.

Laura's goal is to touch people through songs and storytelling on the stage and screen. When she's not performing some of her hobbies include baking, screenwriting, drawing/painting, and weightlifting.
